About Me
I am an award winning actress, teacher and director. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College joint program in Theatre and Drama Studies. I am also a graduate of the Musical Theatre Intensive at the Banff Centre of the Arts and an OCT certified teacher, with a BEd from OISE. I am currently at OISE part time, working towards my Masters degree in Education with an Arts Education Emphasis. I have worked as an arts educator for Roseneath Theatre, The Paprika Festival, the York Region District School Board, TDSBCreates and Young People’s Theatre.
Some of my favourite acting credits include: The Wolves (Howland Company/Crows Theatre), Book Club (Port Stanley Festival Theatre), Punk Rock (Asst. Dir. Howland Company), Mikveh (Harold Green Jewish Theatre), Marry Me Marry Me (House+Body), Romeo and Juliet Chainsaw Massacre (Toronto Fringe Festival, Best of Fringe), FITZ HAPPENS! (Lighthouse Festival Theatre), 9 Parts of Desire (Seventh Stage), and The Lion King (Mirvish). In the fall I will be in Asking for It at The Thousands Islands Playhouse and This was the World at Tarragon Theatre.
I like to balance my teaching life with my acting life, as both worlds find interesting ways of intersecting and infusing each other.
